RIP Nanny. I believe my thrive for fashion comes from my great grandmother. She was a lady that made everything she wore and made clothes for the homeless and her church. She was a tough lady who didn't take nothing from anyone. I respect her NY mentality and aggressiveness - I dedicate my work to her. She lived in Harlem after moving from Baltimore. Hence, the Harlem name. I am so inspired by everything NY and my heart pounds when I walk the streets. As a child, my parents loved to take me shopping on 125th and cloth me. Every winter I always had a fresh Rothschild coat. I am Harlems' Rothschild trying to get my name out there...
